S2 E33: Recycling Realities #2

Join me for the second part of our story--Recycling Realities where I go on my very first ride along!  I spend a Wednesday morning with Gavin, Charles, and Saul as we collect the recyclables and not-so-recyclables in our wee little South African town of Greyton.

WHAT CAN I RECYCLE IN GREYTON?

1. Metal,
2. Glass (this even includes lightbulbs, but UNBROKEN),
3. Cardboard,
4. White/brown paper,
5. magazines,
6. newspapers,
7. All HARD plastics,
8. Plastic bags, 
9. Boetie said that he also takes small and large appliances & electronics ranging from washing machines to cell phones.
10. However, the next time you come across any soft plastic (other than plastic bags or packets), DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PUT THAT IN RECYCLING. And the next time you have a take away meal in a polystyrene container, DO NOT PUT THAT IN RECYCLING. DON’T. DO IT.
